Because this is a high-performance fragrance, 2 to 3 sprays are usually sufficient for a full day of wear. For office or school environments, 1–2 sprays on the neck or chest are ideal. For outdoor events or larger rooms, you can increase to 4 sprays (one behind each ear, one on the back of the neck, and one on your shirt) for better projection.
While they share a similar name, they are very different "beasts." The Sauvage EDP is smooth, fresh, and versatile, featuring a prominent vanilla and ambroxan dry down. Sauvage Elixir is a highly concentrated "liqueur" of a fragrance that is much darker, spicier (with heavy licorice and cinnamon), and far more potent, making it strictly an evening or cold-weather scent.
