I have many incense fragrances including those from Lutens, Sorcinelli, Goodsir, Gucci and many others. Each has their own character: some liturgical, some hippie, some fireplacy. This Montale competes neck and neck with all of the liturgical frankincense scents. It is a bit sweeter than some, but that sweetness is simply a difference, not a defect. If I could have one single incense fragrance forever, it would be this Montale. Price:Performance is off the charts. I will buy again. And again. And again.

If you love True incense then this is the perfect one. It does have that Catholic Church incense scent to it but not overwhelming. Great for Fall & Winter but also a great unique scent for an formal evening out. Also fantastic during any cool evening wear. Plus it last pretty much all evening but after 4 hours or so it wears close to uour body but any slight movement or breeze will send a mice scent around you. One of Montalé's best scents.
Plus it's a very versatile scent that can be layered with any amber, leather leather, privé or warm scents yo take it to another level. Easily a 10/10.
